Lancer Insurance opened in 1994 above a hardware store on Harbor Street with one desk, one phone, and a simple idea — that people deserved an insurance advisor who worked for them, not for a single carrier.
Thirty years on, we've grown into a full-service agency for businesses and families across the region, but we never took the step so many agencies did: we never sold out to a national chain. We're still independent, still family-run, and still answering our own phones.
